To meet the requirements of net-zero energy production while cutting costs at the same time, this paper studies the feasibility of converting an existing small food production facility into a zero-energy production center by incorporating photovoltaic solar panels, solar water-heating panels, energy-efficient machines, and renewable-energy management practices. The targeted facility is a processing plant for three fast-food restaurants, with an approximate electric power consumption of 10 kW. It is equipped with solar water-heating panels, and a photovoltaic system has already been installed to increase the amount of renewable electricity generated on site.
