The fact that in the whole world both objects and humans can interact with each on the internet has led to the advent of Internet of Things concept. The application of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) makes the interaction between man and objects very easy. Agriculture employs these technologies to evolve Smart Agriculture which happens to be a household phrase nowadays. This paper designed an Automated Irrigation System in chikun local government council of Kaduna state, Nigeria that will enhance agriculture through the use sensors in the field. The objectives of this study is to design an Automated Irrigation System that conserves water usage for farmers in northern Nigeria where there is a long dry season. The novelty of this research is comparing the time it takes to start a water pump using Local Area Network as opposed to a GSM module. After a hypothesis..........

Evaluation of Malatya HanifiTanbay House in the Context of the Energy Use Analysis of Sustainable Traditional Architectural Principles
  • Abstract

  • Full Article
Sustainability has become a frequently discussed concept in the discipline of architecture, especially in recent years. Rapid consumption of resources and the major role of the building sector in this consumption have caused an intense questioning of the sustainability of architectural studies. In this context, the sustainability of the design, implementation and use of structural products has become one of the basic principles of today's architectural approaches. From this point of view, while considering principles of sustainability in modern building designs; on the other hand, traditional architectural approaches of the past were examined from this point of view and it was seen that sustainability was at the forefront in these approaches...........

The present day sees a large increase in the number of populations worldwide. This increasing number also raises the concern of fulfillment of the need of food to the people. To cope up with this number, improvised and efficient agriculture plays a vital role. Agriculture sector is one of the most promising & challenging sectors today. In developing countries like India, more than 50 % of the rural population depends upon the agriculture. The production of the crop is highly dependent upon theclimate, which is out of the human control. The yield of the crops also depends upon the various other factors such as fertilizers, pesticides, insecticides, plant diseases, etc. which can be controlled through proper treatment and analysis of the crops. In the present paper a research review is carried about using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) in Agricultural Operations, contributing to the smart agricultural practices for better and quality crop yielding for farmers.

Assessment of Borehole Stability after Pulsed Fracture
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Reference
  • Full Article
The pulsed fracture(PF) technique is promising in the reservoir stimulation. Under the high pressurization rate, the fracture branches to form the complex fracture network in reservoir. However, the high pressurization rate may lead to the wellbore instability. To assess the wellbore stability involved in PF, an assessment method is developed based on the numerical simulation and theoretical analysis. A damage factor is developed to assess the residual strength of surrounding rock while the Mohr-Coulomb criterion is used to predict the critical strength. Then wellbore stability is analysed via comparing the residual strength with the critical strength of surrounding rock. The simulation results suggest that the bigger the internal friction angle is, the more safe the wellbore is. It founds that the dangerous area increases with increasing the material modulus. The dangerous area gets larger with the horizontal stress difference increasing. Under the specific peak pressure, the pressurization time has significant impact on the wellbore stability. The proposed method provides a simple and effective assessment method for wellbore stability after PF stimulation.

In the current study Sargassum wightii Greville, Sargassum cristaefolium C.Agardh and Padina tetrastromatica Hauck from Thirumullavaram coastal region of Kollam, Kerala were selected to evaluate the phytochemical composition and mineral analysis. Various standard methods were used for the evaluation of phytochemical components. The results revealed that among the primary metabolites, quantity of Carbohydrate is more in Sargassum wightii Greville compared two other species. Sterol composition was recorded more in Padina tetrastromatica Hauck. Mineral analysis were done using ICP-AES method...........

Document Classification using Machine Learning Techniques
  • Abstract

Automated classification of text documents into their meaningful classes has always been considered as a vital method to manage and process a vast amount of documents in digital forms that are widespread and continuously increasing. This kind of web information, popularly known as the digital/electronic information is in the form of documents, conference material, publications, journals, editorials, web pages, e-mail etc. People largely access information from these online sources rather than being limited to archaic paper sources like books, magazines, newspapers etc. But the main problem is that this enormous information lacks organized nature which makes it difficult to manage. Document classification is recognized as one of the key techniques used for organizing such kind of digital data...........
